Known as the most prestigious car auction in the United States, the Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction in Scottsdale has now turned into a nine-day event, with nearly 300,000 visitors gathering to view and bid on the world’s most pristine automobiles. Gating must be part of a development’s initial plan. If not included, 100 percent of the property owners must agree to pay for the added the installation. Costs are high as the streets have to be purchased from the city so non-gated neighborhoods usually stay that way.
